Farrer Bird Proofing stands as a dedicated leader in avian pest management, providing comprehensive and humane bird control solutions tailored specifically for the Canberra community. As a locally owned and operated business based in Farrer, we have developed an intimate understanding of the specific bird species and environmental factors that impact properties in the Woden Valley and across the ACT. Our mission is to protect the health, safety, and longevity of our clients' assets through effective, science-based exclusion and deterrent strategies. Canberra’s "bush capital" identity, particularly in leafy suburbs near Mount Taylor, provides an ideal habitat for several pest bird species, most notably the Feral Pigeon, the Common Starling, and the invasive Indian Myna. While these birds are a common sight, their presence on buildings can lead to significant structural and hygiene issues.
