Argo Window Repair & Glass Replacement

Window repair in Bethesda, MD arrives in two forms, and Argo takes both. In Chevy Chase and Somerset the windows are wood and original, so what a repair is worth is what it keeps: a failed rail or stile replaced in new wood matched to the section beside it, the glass line and muntin bars untouched, the finish brought back over sound stock, and the sightline the elevation was drawn with left exactly as it was. In the newer buildings the frames are clad or aluminum and the faults are parts, hazed insulated units, worn operators, latches that no longer meet, balances with nothing left in them. The judgement goes the same way in both directions, which is to keep whatever still carries the opening and change only what cannot be kept. Insulated glass is supplied in Cardinal units under a 20-year manufacturer warranty, a year covers our labor and materials, and the assessment itself costs nothing.
