Dillamore Funeral Service is a well-respected funeral director based in Leighton Buzzard. The company was founded in 1923 by Samuel Robert Dillamore. Initially, the company was a furniture maker, house furnisher, decorator, upholsterer and eventually an undertaker. During the Second World War, the business remained open, whilst Samuels son, Frederick, was serving on war duty. Frederick later went on to have his own son, Richard Dillamore, who took over the management of the business in the late 1970s and has maintained the same level of professionalism and service that made the business so respected at the start.
