Ernesto Buono, founder and master jeweller of Ernesto Buono Fine Jewellery (previously operating as Midas Jewellery Parramatta), has been dedicated to jewellery making since age 17. Starting on the beautiful island of Ischia, Italy, Ernesto was inspired by the natural beauty and rich artisanal traditions of his surroundings. He grew up among master craftsmen and elegant fine jewellery, learning the intricate techniques passed down through generations of Italian artisans. Ernesto furthered his education in jewellery design at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Naples, where he also studied sculpture and painting.
