Giralang Bird Proofing

Giralang Bird Proofing stands as a dedicated leader in avian pest management, providing comprehensive and humane bird control solutions tailored to the unique landscape of Canberra. As a locally owned and operated business based in Giralang, we have developed an intimate understanding of the specific bird species and environmental factors that impact properties in the Belconnen area and throughout the ACT. Our mission is to protect the health, safety, and assets of our clients through effective, science-based exclusion and deterrent strategies. Canberra’s "bush capital" identity, particularly in established, leafy suburbs like Giralang, provides an ideal habitat for several pest bird species. The most common offenders—Feral Pigeons, Common Starlings, and the invasive Indian Myna—frequently target residential and commercial buildings for nesting and roosting. These birds are more than just a nuisance; their presence can lead to significant structural and hygiene issues.
