Marlow Movement Clinic

Mark didn’t fall into sports therapy — he grew up alongside it. Born and raised in Marlow, he first got involved in 1996 as a first-aider assisting the physiotherapist at Marlow Football Club. What started as a voluntary role turned into a vocation. From 1998 to 2013, Mark served as Head Therapist at Marlow FC — responsible for pitch-side trauma care and treatment for all semi-professional players across a demanding football season. That’s 15 years of real-world, high-pressure clinical experience before most practitioners have seen a fraction of the caseload. Along the way, Mark completed his BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy at London Metropolitan University and presented his dissertation — a Randomised Controlled Trial on hamstring strength and agility in football players — at the 2010 National Society of Sports Therapists Conference.
