MedHealth Ultrasound Fareham brings sonographer-led private diagnostic ultrasound to Watermill Clinic, Houghton Way, Wickham, with free on-site parking for patients from Fareham, Wickham, Whiteley, Knowle, Funtley, Portchester and Locks Heath. Appointments are led by Andrea Drackett, Lead Sonographer, who holds an MSc in Medical Ultrasound and a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and has performed more than 80,000 ultrasound examinations. The Fareham service runs under MedHealth Ultrasound Ltd's CQC registration, and every scan is performed by an HCPC-registered sonographer. Examinations include abdominal, pelvic and gynaecological, kidney and bladder, testicular, thyroid and abdominal aortic aneurysm scans, men's and women's wellness scans, and women's health scans for PCOS, fertility and post-menopausal symptoms. Each appointment includes an explanation of the findings and a detailed written report, usually the same day, and a free rescan within a year if one is clinically needed.
