Noia Wellness

We get this question ALL the time! And, it's our favourite to answer. Pronounced: NOY-uh In ancient Greek, the suffix "-noia" signifies thought, intellect, the mind, and cognition. Words such as "eu-noia", "dys-noia", and "para-noia" are common uses of the suffix.* In Hebrew, "Noia" is a name that represents "movement" or "motion". It is derived from the Hebrew word "noya" which means "swaying gently".** "The name, NOIA, to me, represents what makes human beings so incredibly unique: the ability to think, perceive, and interact in the world with profound resiliency. Healing occurs through movement and motion, both physically and emotionally. Stagnancy is often what keeps us stuck, and movement allows us to propel forward into anew.
