My name is Mariana, and I started this company after moving to Chicago from Ukraine with my husband and our young son. Back home, we enjoyed a comfortable life, but everything changed overnight, and we found ourselves embarking on a new journey in the U.S. While my husband settled into his job, I struggled with the language barrier and felt overwhelmed trying to find my own path. One day, I hired a local cleaning service to help with our home. At first, the cleaner was polite—until my son accidentally dropped some snacks. Her immediate frustration and lack of kindness toward him revealed how forced her courtesy had been. It left me feeling uneasy in my own home. That experience sparked an idea: why not create a cleaning company where genuine kindness is non-negotiable, and everyone—adults, children, and pets—is treated with warmth and respect? A place where excellence in cleaning goes hand in hand with real, heartfelt service. That's how Bunny Sparkle was born.
