Financial Literacy New York

Financial Literacy New York began in 2020, initiated by a dedicated team of credit union branch managers, commercial lenders, and home mortgage bankers. Their mission is to provide comprehensive financial literacy education through remote classes.The curriculum is rooted in the FDIC's 14-module Money Smart Financial Literacy program, offering 1-hour lessons that cover practical financial scenarios, group activities, and discussions. The courses include pre- and post-lesson surveys to ensure participants are equipped to enhance their family savings, improve their FICO scores, and create effective budgets.
