Functional Restoration Institute

Functional Restoration Institute is a specialized health clinic in Mission Viejo, California, founded by Drs. Sani and Tara Kohen, dedicated to providing comprehensive, root-cause care for patients suffering from pain and chronic conditions. The clinic combines chiropractic sports medicine, neuromuscular rehabilitation, and functional medicine under one roof to deliver lasting, drug-free relief — having successfully treated over 2,000 patients with a 5.0-star rating. Their approach focuses on treating the body as a whole rather than masking symptoms, with a commitment to helping patients avoid unnecessary surgery and achieve lasting recovery in as few as five treatments. Functional Restoration Institute offers chiropractic sports medicine with advanced musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment, neuromuscular rehabilitation to restore proper movement patterns and muscle function, and functional medicine that identifies metabolic, hormonal, and systemic root causes of illness.
